Turbine Training Center Blog for Cessna 208 Caravan & Beechcraft King Air pilots
For Christmas, my friend got a Dick Tracy Watch Phone! Well, it wasn’t a real Dick Tracy Watch Phone, but, by golly, as long as he has his Smartphone in his pocket he can actually call, and talk to people, on his watch! As there are numerous innovations in the communications realm, so are there in the Aviation world. And, 2016 AIRCRAFT INTERIOR CONCEPTS AND CESSNA 208 TRAINING may very well be something you will be interested in.
I shot an arrow into the air
It fell to earth I know not where
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air
It fell to earth, I know not where
For who has sight so keen and strong
That it can follow the flight of a song.
Now what, you may wonder, does the first two stanzas of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poem, The Arrow and the Song, have to do with lasers or Cessna 208 training? Well, like both the arrow and the song, the beam of a laser can travel out of sight BUT they do not necessarily “disappear.” As a result, LASERS AND CESSNA 208 TRAINING is something that every would be pilot should be concerned about!
Most of us have grown up knowing the importance of innovation due to the ever popular phrase, “Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door.” Attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson, though slightly misquoted, this has led many a people to come up with variations on a theme, thus improving our way of life. This, of course, is as true in the Aviation World as anywhere else, and that is why TURBINE TRAINING is always keeping a pulse beat on AVIATION INNOVATIONS AND CESSNA 208 TRAINING.
“A prime example of this,” Dale Wolcott, President of TURBINE TRAINING in Manhattan, Kansas, offered, “is the current EAA Innovation Prize Competition. Each year they have a theme for the competition,” he went on, “and this year that theme is ‘ideas to reduce the loss-of-control accidents in aircraft.”
If you are truly a STAR WARS fanatic, then you undoubtedly know that Boba Fett flew a jetpack in the battle that found Jabba the Hutt defeated in Return of the Jedi. And, if you are also a Chuck Norris fan, you probably saw him flying one in an episode of WALKER: TEXAS RANGER. A real boon to individual air travel, for the most part they have had limited air-time capacity and no real functional value. Until now. It is reported that Dubai has purchased 20 Jetpacks from the MARTIN AIRCRAFT COMPANY out of New Zealand to be used to fight skyscraper fires. And, if flying a Jetpack appeals to you, you may want to consider JETPACKS AND CESSNA 208 TRAINING.
While Kermit the Frog extols the difficulty of being green, the Aviation world, like the rest of society, knows that it is important that they work diligently to do their part. That’s why “GREEN” AIR TRAVEL & KING AIR 300 TRAINING is as important of an issue to General Aviation as the rest of the Aviation Industry.
“In the latter part of November,” Dale Wolcott, President of TURBINE TRAINING in Manhattan, Kansas, noted, “there was a meeting in Montreal where the whole concept of sustainable development for Aviation was the center of attention.”
“Look, up in the air … it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a …. drone?” When Arnold advised, “I’ll be back” we never thought that the war with the machines might be just around the corner. And, while the war with the machines is not yet here, the war over the machines is! As a result, THE DRONE INDUSTRY AND CESSNA 208 TRAINING is an issue that General Aviation Pilots can’t ignore.
